DEAR WORLD LAUNCHES NEW STORYTELLING METHOD AT FICP. MORE THAN 400 PARTICIPATE IN THE PRTRAIT PROCESS

When I examine plenary session content and making decisions, interactivity and connection are now more important than ever.

Dear World’s approach to using the keynote or general session stage is some of the best I have seen. They’re able to take participants and their stories and make them as memorable or more memorable than the most inspirational keynote speakers.

Where do I begin?

Over a decade since FICP gave Dear World its first big break all I can say is thank you.

To launch the PRTRAIT PROCESS our newest method with you? Stuff of dreams.

More than 400 of you participated. Inquisitive of each other, inspiring and challenging each other for more.

For me? It’s the one of the first times I’ve called myself an artist and invoked the legacy of Mary Beth, my mom.

I know this message has found its way to your phone or laptop several months since we joined each other in Marco Island.

And yet, I felt this feeling that our work wasn’t done with you. We’ve been working hard at Dear World to reimagine how we tell stories, not just with the new methods we have, but also after the event.

In 2024, we’ve been building custom landing pages like this for our clients. It’s a way to memorialize and celebrate what it means to be together.

But in short, Thank you. To all who make FICP what it has been, what it is and what is yet to come.

Sincerely,
Robert X Fogarty

FICP holds a special place in the story of Dear World. It is on this stage over a decade ago that Robert (our founder) first shared the Brain Tattoo Experience. The beautiful relationships and engagements that followed grew our small house into a home of storytelling. It seemed only fit that we brought our newest methodology, Prtrait, to this incredible organization and its beautiful souls. It is only in a room like this that we could take this risk and be as vulnerable in sharing the birth of Prtrait and what it means to us.

Thank you all for the brave space and the many moments in front of our cameras! A huge thank you to Kaitlin and Kat for your tireless efforts in making FICP such a loving community. And big hugs for our duets who came on stage and just shined like the bright stars they are — Wayne, Michael, Kasey, Klara, Ria, and Ryan!

Much love and until next time,
Khat

We knew the PRTRAIT PROCESS by Dear World would be a success at the 2023 FICP. Nearly a decade after first seeing Dear World, it’s amazing to see a new method that has the same impact as their first one spiritually, mentally and even physically.

I now have a better understanding, a better level of compassion and a greater appreciation for those who I met or deepened connections with through the PRTRAIT PROCESS. Congrats to Dear World for doing it again. I hope my FICP meeting professional colleagues can find ways to bring their great work to what you’re doing, too.
