Dear World is a collective of storytellers, innovators, learning and development leaders, and change-makers dedicated to amplifying voices and fostering connection. With roots deeply embedded in empathy and authenticity, we strive to empower individuals and organizations to share their narratives and make an impact.

You might have seen Dear World photos; sweet, inspiring messages written on the faces, arms and hands of everyone from Coach K, college first years to Syrian Refugees. But the journey to the message on skin is interactive, reflective and rooted in your personal narrative.

Be an active participant as you craft your own story and listen to the stories that others have to share. Don’t think you have a meaningful story or that you must pour your heart out? Fear not, Dear World has designed the experience to meet each participant where they’re at.

During this session, participants will:

Align a meaningful story in their life to eBay’s DNA
Listen to their colleagues stories
Share their story with at least one other colleague

Hi! I decided to write this as it’s my introduction to you:

My friends call me “X” and my mom gave me the middle name Xavier because she thought it would look good on a campaign sign.

I got my professional start in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina as an AmeriCorps member. I worked for the City of New Orleans for three years and also co-founded a charitable organization responsible for the largest integration of public art and emergency preparedness in the world called “Evacuspots.”

Since
Since then, my life has taken many turns as all of ours do. Professionally, I’ve surrounded myself with people more talented and skilled than me and with clients who believe in our work.

It’s worked out so far, and I’m ready for our next challenge, which is bigger, bolder and scarier than I’d initially imagined it to be. That’s why we’re hiring you–to be at my side as we take Dear World to places we never initially thought possible.
